23rd February – 26th March

Sweet, summer sensations at Sorbet Social!

Raine Square will keep the sun shining and the sorbet icey, despite the official end of summer nearing.

From February 23 to March 26, the Sorbet Social Squad will be roaming Perth’s CBD at lunchtime to delight people with a $10 dining voucher redeemable at the Raine Square food court and invite everyone to experience the ‘Sorbet Social’ event. The sweet treat activation will take over Raine Lane (situated between La Veen Coffee and Hunter & Barrel) with brightly coloured, oversized ice cream art installations, pastel DJ decks spinning relaxed, summery tunes and delicious dessert giveaways for all to enjoy over lunch in the newly renovated space.

“Perth is known for its iconic summers and given Western Australia’s recent lifting of a COVID-19 lockdown, we’re extending summer for an extra month with a surprise and delight approach for Perth city goers” said Megan Biddle, Marketing Manager at Raine Square.

Local artist Jessica Swan has been engaged by Raine Square to develop the creative design for this activation which will see life size, multi coloured coloured icy poles pop up in Raine Laine making the perfect summer city Instagram photo opp.

Jessica Swan commented, “It’s been an absolute pleasure working with Raine Square on this fun, summer lovin’ campaign! I have thoroughly enjoyed the creative process of this project which has been designed to inject a bright burst of joy into our CBD. I’m a Perth girl through and through and I think it’s wonderful Raine Square are giving a local artist like myself the opportunity to showcase my designs for the ‘Social Sorbet’ activation”.” said Jessica.

Enjoy summer tunes and sweet treats in Raine Lane, as well as supporting your local eateries by redeeming the $10 voucher during the following times.
