Of particular note within the FLOS collections are Michael Anastassiades’ Cocoon Overlap pendant lights. Available in two models, made of white powder coated steel with a coating of resin over the structure and a printed steel diffuser in a polished gold-plated ‘Galvanic’ finish, the Coccon Overlap collection is contemporary and sophisticated with a warm, diffused light presence that creates the perfect ambience.
And then there are two of the worlds most definitive table lamps, both designed by the inimitable duo of Achille and Per Giacomo Castiglioni. The Snoopy lamp made of white Carrara marble with an enamelled metal reflector first came to prominence in 1967; while the Taccia, released in 1962, features a nickel-plated base, body in matt black, silver or bronze with the very recognizable white glass reflecting form above.
Living Edge is will be introducing new colour options in June for Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby’s playful Bellhop and popular Tab table and floor lights. The new colours for both collections will complement the colours already available.
